Why not take a private, individual, flexible and personal chauffeur driven tour with an expert guide to places of interest? See the “Real Algarve” in style in one of our excellent, 6 passenger seater, air-conditioned vehicles. This is not the same as the “bump-you-round-in-an-old-jeep” tours or coach trips which are a similar price, considerably shorter and offer no flexibility.

Full days out cost from around 60-75 euros a person but children aged under 16 go for half price- minimum 150 euros, low season (NOV-MARCH),  175 Euros (October April & May) & 200 euros high season (Other months). The price varies slightly, depending on where you are staying, time booked & distance travelled. There are many options for your special day.

Suggestions

Gypsy Markets run each day in different towns throughout the Algarve and if you wish can form part or all of the morning of the tour.

Whatever your preferences we try to make it a day to remember. We take our time and are never in a rush and we are not “on commission”!! The leisurely but very full day range from sightseeing and crafts in the hills to archaeological sites, churches, local history, fairs, marinas, crafts, bird-watching and art.

There are numerous options for eating out during the day, gourmet restaurants, superb low cost local dining rooms, serving delicious local dishes with spectacular views & small rural bars & restaurants in the middle of nowhere. Special Dietary requirements are difficult but we will give advice if warned in advance!

Another choice is the “Windward” Atlantic coast and may include Lagos (with excellent shops), Sagres & Cape St Vincent, via the rugged Atlantic Coast, Carrapateira (surfers) Beach, Marmalete & Monchique. There are many other choices including the Eastern Algarve including Tavira, Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Castro Marim & Mértola and Ayamonte in Spain
